The Chancery Court has concurrent jurisdiction with the County Clerk for Conservatorships and Guardianships. These types of cases may be brought when an individual may be physically or mentally incompetent to handle their own personal or financial situation, or in such cases of a minor. The Clerk and Master continues to monitor the cases at least annually through accountings and status reports.
